The world is on fire! We need hope, light to survive. We are longing for peace! I applied the paint on the canvas with thick strokes, almost reckless and wild, because peace is not cheap and obvious anymore. We urgently need light and hope. Therefore the darker parts in my painting, in which everything goes wrong, the lighter parts are giving relief, giving hope for a better world, where people respect eachother, so that the dark powers do not get a chance to drive away the light.
Dona nobis pacem! Give us peace!
